Face off : Batman Vs Superman Dawn of Justice(2016)

Before I start to write about the film, Lets be clear on one thing about the film, Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice is not a typical super hero film, It is not similar to the Multi-Hero franchise like the X-men or Avengers , It has the above elements but the film is meant for a completely different perspective and it is seen in the title of the film itself.  it is the whole idea of "Batman going against Superman!", I think thats the most important aspect of the film rather than considering the other elements of the movie.

Short Gist of the Film(Spoilers Ahead!!):

The film begins first with Batman(Ben Affleck) coming to Metropolis at the time when the battle between Superman(Hendry Cavill) and General Zod (Micahel Shannon) happens and he sees lots of innocent people being killed and his hatred against Superman begins, the story then pans to 2 years after Superman's services to Earth, where his enemy Lex Luthor(Jesse Eisenberg) plots to kill him by using batman's hatred towards him.

Many reviews have been on the internet already stating that this is an average film and that it is avery good adaptation of the comic series. As a non follower of the comic books of batman and Superman, I can only judge the movie as a whole, I cannot say that it is an average film, Zack Synder has done everything to do justice for the two main characters in the film- Batman and Superman. Its quite serious thing to describe two characters who are completely opposite as superheroes. He does a fine job just to describe Batman and Superman on screen together, And the fight which we all were expecting is just awesome to watch

Marvel Vs DC

Dawn of Justice can be considered as the DC's answer to Avengers which is Justice League!. But the two franchise are completely different, While the first version of Avengers is quite comic, Justice League cannot be. It is indeed a serious film and it will be if the second part is directed, I am predicting this mainly based on Zack Synder's involvement or We can say that it would be interesting to see it directed in an different way.

Its not like Dawn of Justice is a out and out Superhero movie, It has some very specific Zac Synder elements like the visions which Batman gets several times in the film and also the supernatural dreams . The graphics and soundtracks are just unmatchable, Man of Steel's main reason for success was Special effects and here the same goes for Dawn of Justice. Wonder Woman( Gal Gadot)'s entry and performance is just extraordinary and quite unexpected(In many ways over shadows Batman's character). Ban Affleck as Bruce Wayne is a very good choice and he does a fine job pulling this off, the thing with this movie is there are a lot of expectations from the previous version of Batman Trilogy and since it was that good, even if Ben Affleck did an extraordinary performance it stands to be a little less.

One thing that i felt a little let down was that the story was little weak, there was more focus on the face off between Batman and Superman that there was little less attention given to the rest of the plot. Off course the movie gets back to track somewhere near the last 30 mins. What i felt was that the film could have had all the members of the league at the end rather than just giving a hint that there would be a sequel. Overall a superb comic adaptation and a very movie( true to its name :P)
